They have been growing pumpkins since 2013 after working on farms in America as harvesters. Now, they offer members of the public a chance to come see these beautiful vegetables and to pick their own ready for Halloween.

They are holding a pumpkin-picking event with pumpkins of all sizes. Choose from a wheelbarrow or donkey experience. Join a friendly donkey or pick up your wheelbarrow and make your way through the spooky trail until you reach the pumpkin patch, ready to pick up your very own pumpkin. There will be lots of tricks and treats and photo opportunities.

One of the best opportunities for pumpkin picking in Meath is at Ladyrath Lane, also located near Navan.
Nestled in the countryside at Rathkenny, this pumpkin patch was established in 2016 and has become so popular it is often sold out months in advance.
As well as the opportunity to pick your own pumpkin, Ladyrath has a host of other things to enjoy including pumpkin carving workshops, a children’s playground, a bouncy castle, and an obstacle course, and lots more.
Each child receives a pumpkin that can be carved on site (tools provided) and they also get a goody bag on arrival.
Visitor facilities include parking, toilets, a coffee shop in the renovated barn (serving drinks, buns, scones, and other treats), and outdoor seating. For a great family day out in Meath, pre-book your tickets for this pumpkin patch in Navan.

If you are based in the West of Ireland and are looking for pumpkin patches near you, then check out Michael’s Pumpkin Patch near Banatubber.
Michael has been growing pumpkins since the age of 5 and started the pumpkin patch in 2020. Growing 300 pumpkins, Michael decided to sell tickets for the patch and the slots sold out so quickly he couldn’t keep up.
In 2023, the pumpkin patch will return and is donating 5% of extra pumpkins sold and 5% of each ticket sale to the Cancer Care West charity. And there will be an exciting display of animals and birds for all to enjoy.

Navan Adventure Centre, Meath

Joe’s Farm Crisps, Cork

Joe’s Farm Crisps are holding a Halloween event that welcomes visitors to a pumpkin picking experience.
Enjoy a walk around the farm, picking your own vegetables as you learn about farming before picking your own pumpkin to take home for carving.
Visitor facilities include a farm shop, hot drinks stall, and picnic tables. There is ample parking and a portaloo toilet. Be advised that there are no card machines at the venue, so bring cash. Dogs are not allowed at this site and you are also advised to wear wellies.

If you are based in and around County Tipperary, then another pumpkin patch to seek out is the Kingstown Farm Pumpkin Patch.
Located just 2.5km from the town of Cashel, one of the best places to visit in Ireland thanks to the famous Rock of Cashel, the Kingstown Farm is holding a pick-your-own-pumpkin this October.
This is a ticketed event and at least one paying adult must accompany children. The farm has toilets on site, and will also have a coffee “Horse Box” trailer serving snacks as well as hot and cold drinks. The site is not suitable for dogs as it is a working farm.

Liskennett’s Equine Therapy Centre, Limerick
